Bake these yummy cheesy biscuits for the upcoming holiday gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted vegan butter – melted
  • 1 1/2 cups Nafsika’s Garden cheddar cheese – grated

Topping

  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter – melted

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and sugar. Stir to combine.
  3. Mix the milk with the apple cider vinegar and let it sit for around 10 minutes.
  4. Add the melted butter and milk mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir to combine until the mixture is moist, but do not overmix. Finally, add the cheddar cheese.
  5. Drop about 1/4 cup of dough per biscuit onto an oiled baking tray. Brush with the melted butter.
  6. Place the baking tray on the center rack of your preheated oven and bake at 425°F for 10–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
