Bake these yummy cheesy biscuits for the upcoming holiday gathering.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup non-dairy milk
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup unsalted vegan butter – melted
- 1 1/2 cups Nafsika’s Garden cheddar cheese – grated
Topping
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter – melted
Method
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and sugar. Stir to combine.
- Mix the milk with the apple cider vinegar and let it sit for around 10 minutes.
- Add the melted butter and milk mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir to combine until the mixture is moist, but do not overmix. Finally, add the cheddar cheese.
- Drop about 1/4 cup of dough per biscuit onto an oiled baking tray. Brush with the melted butter.
- Place the baking tray on the center rack of your preheated oven and bake at 425°F for 10–15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
